As a native New Orleanian, I have grown to love the city's vibrant culture and celebrations. This piece captures the end of festivity blues. I have entitled it "Boudin" - a Cajun fat sausage...perfectly suited for the adorably plump subject of the piece. Laissez les bon temps rouler!
On Mardi Gras and Super Sunday, you can find the most colorful tribes of black carnival revelers parade down the streets in their self-made, ornate Native American attire...a true part of New Orleans culture. This little man is ready for his carnival debut:)
